20世紀を代表する芸術家・北大路魯山人は日本の美を追求し、斬新な美意識でもって新しい文化を創り出しました。今回の展示では、昭和23年に制作した電気スタンドをはじめ、特に珍しい作品を集めて展観いたします。

Rosanjin Kitaoji, one of the representative Japanese artists of the 20th century, pursued a distinctly Japanese concept of beauty and created a new culture by employing his innovative aesthetic sense. This exhibition features some particularly rare examples of Rosanjin’s artistic works including an electric desk lamp he produced in 1948.
