写真の作品は、銀製の孔雀を七宝で装飾した明治時代の置物です。万博などを通して海外で紹介され、当時の欧米で大変な人気を博しました。その他、金工・七宝・蒔絵・印籠・京薩摩などを展示いたします。

The photograph shows an ornament from the Meiji era in the form of a silver peacock decorated by means of the cloisonné technique. At the time, these ornaments were introduced overseas at international expositions and became extremely popular in the West. In addition, we will present a number of works showcasing other traditional Japanese crafts, including metal, enamel and gold lacquer objects, inro pillboxes and various items of Kyo-Satsuma ware.
